ActivTrak Listed as Sample Vendor in Two 2021 Gartner® Hype Cycle™ Reports

ActivTrak was recognized among ten vendors in the Employee Productivity Monitoring category

ActivTrak, a workforce analytics and productivity platform provider, today announced it has been identified as a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for the Digital Workplace, 2021 and also in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technology, 2021.

Each Hype Cycle drills down into the five key phases of a technology’s life cycle: Innovation Trigger, Peak of Inflated Expectations, Trough of Disillusionment, Slope of Enlightenment and Plateau of Productivity. ActivTrak is identified as a Sample vendor in the Employee Productivity Monitoring category. This category is in the Innovation Trigger phase of both 2021 Hype Cycle reports.

In the 2021 Gartner Hype Cycle for the Digital Workplace, Gartner notes, “The continuing effects of the pandemic highlight the criticality of the digital employee experience and how it shapes the future of work.” The report continues, “This Hype Cycle explores the emerging technologies that will be most influential in the digital employee experience, spotlighting many key disciplines needed to maintain a competitive edge.”

In the 2021 Gartner Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technology, Gartner states, “Client interest in employee productivity monitoring has increased substantially through the COVID-19 pandemic. It can provide insights into when employees are working, what work is being done and how much time is spent on different activities. Employees, managers, and HR and business leaders have had increased interest in this in order to gain visibility into work activities in remote work environments.”

ActivTrak provides a real-time digital pulse of employee productivity and engagement, no matter when or where people are working. Easy to use dashboards and reports help teams compile and correlate productivity data unique to their organizations, quickly spot patterns and signals, and set and track goals against benchmarks—with insights for managers and employees alike.

“Our mission is to continue to help organizations and their employees work wiser by optimizing productivity and supporting well-being, whether in-office or remote,” said Ramon Chen, chief product officer at ActivTrak. “We believe that being named by Gartner as a Sample Vendor in the Hype Cycle for the Digital Workplace and Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technology is an honor and reinforces our platform’s value as organizations navigate the future of work and hybrid work models.”

Note: Later this year, ActivTrak’s SVP of Product, Javier Aldrete will conduct a live demo of its workforce analytics and productivity platform during the Gartner ReimagineHR Conference 2021 to be held virtually, Nov. 8-10, 2021.
