Workstation Log

A Workstation Log contains the application usage history for a single workstation.  If there are multiple users of a workstation all, users records are included in the same log. 

After selecting a computer in a Net View Window, open a Workstation Log window for the current month by pressing  on the button bar. To open Workstation log for other months or multiple months, select 'New/Workstation Log' from the File menu, or right click on the computer in the Net View.

Workstation logs are stored on the workstation in separate files for each month. Data from multiple months can be combined in one Log window.  Filters can be used to reduce the display to particular users, time periods or applications, and to apply color highlights to records of interest.

A Workstation Log window contains all the data fields of a Net View window, with the addition of the Duration column.  See the Session Track window type for more information on the Duration field.

A Workstation Log is the source of data for a Log Analysis window.
