Window Types

The ActivTrak Viewer is a standard Windows MDI application (Multiple Document Interface). When working with the ActivTrak Viewer it is most important to understand the six differnet types of child windows that are available for viewing data.

Each child window type, show below, is used for presenting a different form of application usage data.

Net View
Realtime application usage data from multiple workstations on your network.
Session Track
Data from a single workstation, showing the current application data as well as the history since the window was opened.
Workstation Log
Historical data from a single workstation from one or more months.
Snapshot
Realtime screenshot from a single workstation.
Log Analysis
Analysis of a Workstation Log window, decomposing usage data down in terms of application time, document time, webpage, URL, etc.
Alarm History
List of alarms that have been triggered by data incoming to this installation of the ActivTrak Viewer.
