Selecting Subnets
When opening an new Net View, you may select the local subnet or use the Select Subnets dialog box to select the subnets of interest.
Once you have defined a subnet it remains in a general pool of subnets available to the ActivTrak viewer until it is deleted. Check the boxes on the left to include one or more subnets in the Net View you are opening.
Use the Add button to open the add a new subnet, or the Edit button to modify the subnet. These buttons open the Edit Subnet dialog shown below.
To identify a subnet, specify the IP of any node on the subnet in the Network Address field and specify the accompanying subnet mask. Additionally, you can specify a range of IP address within the subnet. A description field is included for convenience.
If your routers are not configured to forward UDP broadcasts, you will need to specify an address on the subnet where the ActivTrak Relay Service is running.
