Filters Dialog
The Filters Dialog allows you to define and apply filters to grids in Net Views, Session Track, or Workstation Log windows.
To apply the filter to the grid in the active window, mark the checkbox. If "Show all" is checked all the rows are displayed, and the effects of the filter are only to show color.
Filters are applied from top to bottom, so that if a row matches the criteria for two filters, the color scheme from the bottom most filter is applied. Use the up and down arrows on the left to change the filter order.
Tip: Hidden rows are kept in memory, so changing the filters will immediately change the visible rows. There is no need to reload the data.
Filter selections remain with the child window, and are stored along with Net View when saved to a .anv file or with the Session Track when saved to a .ast file. Log files are different in that only the data is stored, and no formating or filters.
Delete
Once a filter is defined, it remains in a general pool associated with the installation of the ActivTrak Viewer, until it is deleted. So filters can be turned on or off, applied to various child windows as needed.
New and Edit
Press the New or Edit button to create or modify individual filters using the Edit Filter Dialog .
